About Us

College Development Network (CDN) is the national enhancement agency for Scotland’s college sector. We work in partnership with Scotland’s colleges to develop their people, strengthen skills across the sector, champion collaboration through networks and curriculum groups, and shine a spotlight on the outstanding impact of colleges.

Everything we do is about celebrating and supporting the great work happening across Scotland’s colleges — helping the sector to share knowledge, build capability, and continually improve.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a highly motivated Delivery and Engagement Partner to join our passionate team working behind the scenes to support Scotland’s college sector. As part of CDN’s Delivery and Engagement Team, you will bring your skills, experience, and energy to a dynamic environment where collaboration, innovation, and impact are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll be part of an inclusive, forward-thinking organisation committed to sparking ideas, encouraging collaboration and sharpening skills across the sector.

Reporting to the Head of Delivery and Engagement, you will work closely with colleagues across CDN, in addition to a wide range of partners and stakeholders across the tertiary sector, to deliver CDN’s Strategic Plan and Scottish Funding Council (SFC) Agreement Framework. You will lead on impactful projects that drive enhancement and positive change across the college sector. Your proven skills in project management and collaboration will bring people together to deliver results and support quality enhancement.

As a CDN Delivery and Engagement Partner, you will be committed to creating safe, supportive, and empowering learning environments. You will design and deliver engaging programmes, workshops, and resources that inspire others and align with strategic priorities. Key skills:

  • Expert facilitation skills and the ability to bring professionals and leaders together to solve wicked problems
  • Skilled in developing and delivering engaging programmes, workshops and resources.
  • Solutions-focussed and a strong commitment to further and higher education
  • An appreciation of how trauma-informed practice can build positive outcomes within an education setting is desirable but not essential.
