Applications are invited for a Temporary Fixed Term 5-year post (commencing 1st September 2026) post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Economics (Environment & Natural Resources) within UCD School of Economics.

Applications are invited for positions as Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the UCD School of Economics. Applicants must have an active research track record and be an effective communicator capable of excellence in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The successful applicant will be expected to teach (but not exclusively) on UCD’s BSc in Sustainability. Applications from relevant fields such as Environment and Natural Resources, Energy, Climate Change are welcomed.

95 Lecturer/Asst Professor Above The Bar (7943) Salary Scale: €64,753 - €102,539 Per Annum

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
