Oldham College is looking to appoint its next Examinations Manager

Oldham College is actively looking to appoint a talented, confident and highly organised Examinations Manager to lead our busy Exams team and keep every process running seamlessly.

The Role

As Examinations Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination and delivery of all examinations across the College. Ensuring absolute accuracy, full compliance with awarding body regulations you will enable a smooth experience for every learner, giving them the best environment for success.

In this role you will use your talent and expertise to:

  • Lead, motivate and develop the Exams team and invigilators.
  • Manage timetables, entries, registrations and results, keeping everything on track and on time.
  • Liaise with awarding bodies, curriculum teams and support staff to maintain accuracy and clear communication.
  • Oversee the exams budget and ensure value for money.
  • Drive JCQ compliance, data integrity and continuous improvement.

In short, you’ll be the driving force behind a professional, efficient and student-focused examinations service.

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A relevant Level 3 qualification in leadership and management  (Level 4 or equivalent desirable).
  • Proven supervisory experience in an exams or administrative environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong IT and data-handling skills, including spreadsheets and databases.
  • Confidence managing people, processes and deadlines.
  • Good working knowledge of JCQ and awarding body regulations.
