About the role
The UCL School of Management is seeking to appoint an Associate Professor (Teaching) to take a leadership role in the team delivering the School’s successful MSc Management degree, which attracts up to 500 students annually. The degree is designed as a conversion program for graduates from diverse academic backgrounds who aim to transition into management careers across various industries.
The postholder will have an opportunity to shape the degree as part of the expansion of the School’s portfolio of master’s programmes. The School is looking for candidates with strategic insight into the future of work and an understanding of the skills and attributes graduates will need to fulfil their career aspirations in an era where artificial intelligence is transforming industries. Prior experience in leading large-scale and innovative academic programmes will be considered an advantage.

Salary – UCL Grade 9 £68,284 - £74,166 pa (including London allowance)

About you
The successful candidate will hold a relevant PhD or equivalent Doctorate in a field aligned with business and management and will have extensive experience in teaching business and management subjects at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. They will demonstrate an established record of teaching excellence, evidenced through consistently strong evaluations and a sustained contribution to curriculum innovation and educational leadership.
The successful applicant will have experience leading teams or projects—such as acting as a programme leader—to drive curriculum enhancement, educational quality, and industry engagement. They will also demonstrate the ability to integrate theoretical concepts with contemporary business practice and to engage effectively with students from a wide range of disciplines and cultural backgrounds.
