About us
We are UCL: a diverse community with the freedom to challenge and think differently. From cancer research to climate change, dementia to social inequality, the world is facing huge challenges and we’re determined to solve them.
There has never been a more exciting time to join the Advancement office as we plan for our biggest ever fundraising and engagement campaign and support the delivery of the bicentennial programme in 2026. We are a team of exceptionally ambitious, creative and passionate individuals who work together to achieve remarkable things with a global impact, and we would love for you to be part of this exciting journey and our success.
Equity, diversity and inclusion is important to us. We are committed to creating an environment where everyone is encouraged to give their best in a place where their unique experiences, perspectives and skills are seen as valuable assets.
About the role
In this role, you'll be a key member of the Advancement Communications and Engagement team, responsible for producing engaging, targeted content across a range of social media platforms. You’ll help us tell compelling stories about UCL’s impact, celebrate our alumni community, and support our philanthropic goals.
You’ll lead the day-to-day management of Advancement-owned social media channels (currently Instagram, Facebook and X, with scope to change), and collaborate with colleagues across UCL to contribute content to centrally and faculty-owned platforms, including LinkedIn, TikTok, WeChat and Weibo.
We're happy to consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job-share basis wherever possible (minimum 0.8 FTE – equivalent of 4 days per week, stated salary to be pro-rata).
This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 20% on site. Please note Tuesdays are our in-office day. You'll also be expected to attend UCL activities in addition to this to fulfil the needs of the role.
