Senior Student Success Officer (Engagement & Opportunity)

- THE ROLE -

The Student Success team work across the CertHE portfolio to support student engagement and progression, working to identify and remove barriers to successful study, providing assistance to services, tools and resources to enable engagement, and ensuring that students are able to access appropriate and timely support from specialist services as required.

The postholder will work collaboratively to design and deliver a holistic programme of support that is responsive to student needs and institutional priorities, with a particular focus on prevention, early intervention, and inclusive practice.

This role will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of workshops, training sessions, and communications that foster student engagement, academic development, and a sense of belonging. The role also supports data collection and analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of workshops, activities and other engagement tools and inform future planning.

This role will also support the daily functioning of the Student Success Team by undertaking the following duties: providing 1:1 support, targeted coaching, and inclusive engagement activities that foster progression, belonging, and wellbeing.
