We are looking for an enthusiastic researcher with experience in magnetic resonance to join our team conducting a ground-breaking clinical trial in the treatment of bipolar depression. This Wellcome Trust-funded project will measure the impact of dietary intervention on patients’ brain metabolism using 1H and 31P magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS).
The Opportunity:
This 62-month post will suit an imaging scientist or (N)MR spectroscopist (experience of in-vivo/clinical imaging is not essential) who is able to work both independently and collaboratively, as a key member of our interdisciplinary research team. The post holder will help to improve understanding and treatment of bipolar disorder, generate high-impact research outputs, and gain expertise in medical imaging and metabolic psychiatry. The post is full-time and based primarily on-campus, however requests for limited remote working (on a non-contractual basis) will be considered.
