Are you ready to take on an exciting role at the forefront of energy and climate policy research? The Energy Policy Research Group (EPRG), based at Cambridge Judge Business School, is seeking a proactive and skilled Operations and Engagement Manager to join our team.

EPRG is an internationally recognised leader in energy and climate policy research. Our mission is to inform public and private-sector decision-making in the transition to a sustainable and secure energy future. Supported by UK Research Councils, the European Commission, philanthropic foundations, and industry stakeholders, we deliver impactful research and foster collaboration through our Energy Policy Forum. As part of the University of Cambridge's Cambridge Zero and Energy IRC initiatives, we are at the cutting edge of addressing global energy challenges.

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with the EPRG Directors and the Head of the Energy Policy Forum to ensure the smooth operation of the Centre and its external engagement activities. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering high-profile events such as bi-annual conferences, managing the Centre's budget, and building strategic relationships across the University and beyond. You will also play a key role in developing and implementing our communications strategy, ensuring EPRG's work reaches key audiences and stakeholders.

We are seeking someone with strong organisational and project management skills who enjoys working collaboratively and independently. You will have experience managing the operations of a research centre or business unit, delivering projects on time and within budget, and developing effective communications. A background in higher education or the not-for-profit sector is desirable. Educated to degree level, or with equivalent professional experience, you will bring an analytical mindset, creativity, and a passion for fostering research impact and community building.

This is a unique opportunity to make a tangible difference in the global energy landscape while working in a stimulating, world-class academic environment.

This is a part-time position of 29.6 hours per week, with the expectation that the successful candidate will be in the office 75 percent of the time. We are open to flexible working arrangements to support work-life balance.

While this is a permanent role, funding has been initially approved for one year.
