This is an exciting opportunity for a capable administrator to join our administrative service that provides support to our academic Schools within the University. In particular you will support the School of Nursing and Allied Health that delivers a number of professional and academic health programmes. These programmes also include professional placements.
In this role, you will deal with a number of administrative tasks, joining the Senior Office Administrator as the key focal point for academic staff across their activities.
Your pro-active involvement will allow academic colleagues from across the Schools to concentrate on their core commitments to students and research. Key duties of the role will include:
Reporting to the Office Manager, you will have confidence in the use of MS Outlook, MS Teams, MS Word and MS Excel, alongside strong problem-solving skills. You will have a commitment to providing excellent, proactive customer service and an ability to develop effective relationships across different departments (internally and externally) within the University and Service Care Users and also liaising with external agencies such as the NHS. You will possess excellent numeracy, analytical and literacy skills and should be able to demonstrate well-developed organisational skills, including the ability to work co-operatively in small teams as well as on your own initiative.
