About us

The UCL School of Management is home to UCL’s business and management research and education programmes. The School has forged a reputation for world-leading research and teaching in the areas of innovation management, the creation and growth of technology-intensive organisations, business analytics, and entrepreneurship.

The School is a member of the Chartered Association of Business Schools. Our academic staff, comprised of 95 academic and education faculty, is organised around five research groups, Strategy & Entrepreneurship, Organisations & Innovation, Operations & Technology, Marketing & Analytics, and Finance, Accounting & Economics. We offer innovative undergraduate, postgraduate, PhD, MBA and executive programmes in Management, Entrepreneurship, Business Analytics, Information Management Systems, and Finance, designed to prepare students for leadership roles in the next generation of innovation-intensive organisations.

The School is home to over 2,000 students, with more than 55% from outside the UK. The School’s faculty members also come from all over the world, with PhDs from Harvard, MIT, Stanford, Columbia, UCLA, Northwestern, Cornell, Duke, Cambridge, and London Business School among others.

About the role

The post holder will play a key role in designing and developing digital learning content, with a particular focus on assessment, the use of generative AI, and the automation of tasks to support both academic and administrative staff. They will work closely with course directors and module leaders to understand requirements and contribute to the development and delivery of departmental digital learning strategies, including support for online programmes.

The role also involves ensuring that all materials comply with current accessibility and copyright legislation, as well as collaborating with UCL’s Digital Education Team and Learning Technologists across the School and wider university to share best practice and make effective use of new features, in line with the School’s commitment to innovation and high-quality learning outcomes.

This role starts in January 2026 and is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 40% on-site.

About you

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following criteria:

  • Educated to A Level (minimum of two at Grade C or above) or equivalent, or having acquired relevant experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft Power BI, data visualisation, or Python, and/or knowledge and experience of working with generative AI.
  • An understanding of how web-based, multimedia, and mobile technologies can be used to enhance learning, teaching, and assessment.
  • An understanding of the pedagogical, social, and cultural issues affecting the adoption of new learning environments/technologies and the ability to develop strategies to deal with them.
