We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Laboratory for Neuroimmunology and Immunopsychiatry at the University of Oxford.
You will play a central role in an interdisciplinary research programme investigating how immune mechanisms contribute to psychiatric and neurological disorders. The project combines human induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)- derived neuronal and glial models, multi-electrode array (MEA), and multi-omic profiling to dissect neuroimmune interactions.
You will lead experimental design, data generation, and integration across molecular and functional readouts. Experience with MEA methodology and iPSC-based neuronal and glial differentiation is essential, while experience with multi-omic approaches would be an advantage.
The post offers excellent opportunities for training and professional development, including supervision of students, contribution to grant applications, and collaboration with pharmaceutical partners on translational neuroimmunology projects.
This position provides a unique opportunity to translate fundamental discoveries in neuroimmunology and Immunopsychiatry into therapeutic innovation, within a world-leading research environment at the University of Oxford.
Applications for this vacancy should be made online (via the ‘Apply’ button above), and you will need to upload a CV and supporting statement explaining how you meet each of the selection criteria, using examples of your skills and experience. Please restrict your documentation to your CV and supporting statement only. Any additional documents will be requested at a later stage.
This position is offered full time on a fixed term contract until 31 December 2027 and is funded by the Oxford Health Biomedical Research Centre.
