We are seeking a confident, organised and experienced individual to join our team as an Academic Placement and Partnerships Officer, supporting the organisation and placement of students across a range of Healthcare Organisations and Schools. You will be engaging with external placement providers and teaching staff across the Department of Education, Department of Health Sciences, and Brunel Medical School to support placement activity for both our undergraduate, postgraduate and apprenticeship students.
The purpose of the role is to deliver excellent operational support that would provide a positive learning experience to our students prior to, during and following their off-campus placement activities. The role involves building and sustaining effective relationships with placement providers, negotiating and influencing as needed to ensure high-quality placement opportunities.
Prospective candidates should possess significant administrative and operations-based experience which may include planning, co-ordination and customer service responsibilities, working as part of a team and demonstrating initiative to resolve problems. A background in Higher Education is not necessarily required, however, an understanding of complex processes and experience of process re-design, evidence of successful stakeholder management and a positive approach to customer service are essential.
