Applications are sought for a committed Post-doctoral Research Fellow to work with Dr Nick Gardiner conducting research for a Leverhulme Trust funded project entitled Testing a new concept for critical metal enrichment in Late Archean granites. The primary duties will be to develop and integrate both empirical and modelling approaches to build new petrogenetic models for the formation of economically critical (Sn-Li) mineral deposits, and disseminate these findings both to the academic community and to the wider mineral exploration community.
The successful applicant will have (or be near to completion of) a PhD in Petrology/Economic Geology/Geochemistry. The post is available for 12 months starting 16th February 2026 or as soon as possible thereafter.
