The University of Liverpool is seeking to appoint a Clinical Research Fellow (MD) to lead delivery of the Amy-SUSPECT project – ATTR Amyloidosis: Study of Utilizing Streamlined Referral Pathways with Education, Cardiac AI Echocardiography, and Point-of-care Testing. This prestigious MD fellowship offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact multi-centre study, aiming to improve the timely diagnosis and management of transthyretin cardiac amyloidosis (ATTR-CA) through a streamlined referral pathway, education, and use of artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted echocardiography. This post is suitable for a trainee interested in cardiology research with the interplay of themes of amyloidosis, imaging, heart failure and AI.
You will be registered for the Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the University of Liverpool and will be embedded within the Department of Cardiovascular and Metabolic Medicine and the Liverpool Centre for Cardiovascular Science (LCCS), benefiting from strong mentorship and supervision in a world-class cardiovascular research environment.
This is a fixed-term post available for 24 months.
