At St Mary’s University, we’re looking for a part time (0.6FTE) Careers Consultant to join our friendly and dedicated Employability team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact, guiding and empowering our students to explore their options, build their confidence, and take the next steps towards fulfilling careers.

What you’ll be doing:

• Delivering one-to-one guidance and group workshops to support students with their careers
• Working closely with academic departments to embed careers and employability into the curriculum
• Creating engaging resources and events that inspire and inform
• Creating and managing projects to support key cohorts of students

What we’re looking for:

• A strong, qualified guidance practitioner, with experience in Higher Education
• A confident presenter with the ability to deliver interactive teaching
• Someone who’s proactive, positive, and approachable
• A commitment to supporting students from all backgrounds to reach their potential
