About the role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a post as a Tissue Bank Research Technician within the Imperial College Healthcare Tissue Bank | Faculty of Medicine | Imperial College London), which is the largest and most diverse Tissue bank in England and Wales that is regulated by the HTA.
The purpose of this post is to provide support to the Laboratory Lead, and the other Research Technicians for the ICHTB, in the collection of specimens from operating theatres and from Histopathology at Charing Cross Hospital.

This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail and a passion for supporting translational research.
What we are looking for:
The candidate should have minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a biological science or related field. Previous lab experience is essential, preferably within a Histopathology setting.
You will be required to communicate effectively with the lab team and the wider research community, including researchers, surgical teams, pathologists and suppliers. Therefore, excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
