During this time, we’ve grown from a small school set up beneath a jewellery shop to a respected, world-class institution offering accredited courses

With a new Principal and Board of Governors, the Academy has a reinvigorated sense of purpose and is entering an exciting new stage in its development. With plans to diversify our academic offer and grow our student community, we are seeking to make several new critical leadership appointments to strengthen our Executive team and deliver on our ambitions. As our new Head of Marketing and Business Development, you will contribute to the development and implementation of the Academy’s overall strategic aims. Working closely with the Principal to ensure that BAJ effective recruits high quality students, communicates its successes effectively to stakeholders and others, and has the optimum portfolio of programmes and short courses to meet its strategic ambitions.

You will provide leadership of the highest quality for the strategic direction and delivery of marketing, communications, student recruitment and outreach initiatives. You will enhance BAJ’s brand, drive student enrolment, and foster community engagement. Working closely with academic colleagues to create a business development strategy that enables portfolio expansion, market diversification, and student growth across FE, undergraduate, and future Masters level provision.

To apply you will demonstrate senior management experience in a transferrable institution, with a proven track record of successful management of one or more of Marketing, Student Recruitment or Business Development in either HE or FE. With a track record of delivering student recruitment and / or revenue growth, you will also be a supportive leader and an innovator for positive change.

The position is currently 0.8 FTE, but we are open to discussing flexible arrangements.

This is a great time to join BAJ and a fantastic opportunity to shape our institution for generations to come.  For further information and details of how to apply, please click on the 'Apply' button above or contact Simon Critchley at Dixon Walter on 07891 842 347 or at simon@dixonwalter.co.uk
