UHI Inverness is at the heart of the community. Working closely with businesses and stakeholders, our curriculum and research capacity is designed to meet the ever-evolving needs of industry and support the strengths and ambitions of the region. Through a personalised approach, we help our students discover their right path, providing them with a combination of qualification and job-ready skills to succeed in the workplace. UHI Inverness has locations at Inverness Campus and also the Scottish School of Forestry (Balloch), a growing hub for research, innovation and enterprise set within a 215 acre site.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a small, dynamic, customer-focused team that is dedicated to excellence in delivering ICT Services. The Business Admin MA will specialise in providing support and championing the needs of our staff and students at UHI Inverness, as well as providing valuable experience in business management, ICT, and project management with relevant industry standard qualifications available.
The team’s role is to support and deploy ICT infrastructure and user equipment; implement and maintain software and systems, administer user accounts and access; ensure wider security of the College digital systems; support users with any issues in using technology; as well as working on projects and staying connected with wider technology developments to continually improve the services we deliver.
If you take pride in providing good customer service and enjoy helping people, are organised, hard-working and willing to learn this is a fantastic opportunity to gain both experience and a Modern Apprentice Business Administration qualification at SCQF Level 6.
Please note: the successful post holder will need to pass a satisfactory PVG scheme membership prior to commencing employment.
