The role holder will work closely with the clinical skills lead, module coordinators, and administration staff to deliver high-quality clinical skills training and assessment for undergraduate and postgraduate audiology students. You will play a key role in ensuring that teaching is person-centred, evidence-based, and aligned with best practices in audiology.

This position requires on-site presence every working day during term time to support teaching and clinical skills delivery. Outside of term time, there is greater flexibility to work remotely.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering teaching and assessment in audiology, clinical skills, and clinical practice, acting as a module coordinator or co-coordinator depending on experience.
  • Developing and updating teaching materials and assessments for both online and face-to-face learning.
  • Supporting the organisation and delivery of modules, clinical examinations, and simulation activities.
  • Maintaining and updating learning resources on Moodle and managing stock and equipment in the clinical skills lab.
  • Acting as a clinical assessor for practical exams and serving as a personal academic tutor for students.

Engaging in continuing professional development and staying informed about industry trends and advancements in audiology

About you

You will be a qualified audiologist and you will have:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based teaching and supporting student learning.
  • The ability to manage your workload flexibly and adapt to the needs of the department.
  • A proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to engage with UCL policies and ways of working.

Experience in audiology education and familiarity with clinical skills training will be highly advantageous. You should also be comfortable using digital learning platforms such as Moodle and contributing to both in-person and online teaching environments.
