Turning Passion into Purpose. London South Bank University is excited to be recruiting for a Lecturer in Mechanical Engineering and Design to join our vibrant School of Engineering and Design. Our teaching and research community brings together engineers, designers, innovators and sustainability specialists who are committed to shaping a cleaner, smarter and more equitable future. We work closely with industry to solve real-world engineering and design challenges, and our graduates are known for combining strong technical and analytical capability with creativity, practical problem-solving and design thinking.
This position offers an excellent opportunity for an emerging academic to contribute to the continued development of our Mechanical Engineering and Product Design portfolio. You will be encouraged and supported to develop your own research, within areas aligned to the School’s priorities – such as sustainable and circular design, advanced manufacturing, materials and structural innovation, energy systems including thermal engineering, digital design and simulation, engineering systems and others. You will contribute to research funding bids, knowledge exchange activities, or enterprise projects.
