Location: Somerset House with some occasional travel to Vernon Square, near Kings Cross. Due to the nature of this role, the expectation is the role hold.
The Courtauld Institute of Art is the UK’s leading institution for teaching and research in the History of Art and the conservation of paintings and is also home to one of the finest small art galleries in the world. The Courtauld is transitioning through a major capital transformation project and will be continuing over the next five-year period to transform its estate that will make The Courtauld’s world-class artworks, research and teaching accessible to more people – in the UK and internationally.
The Courtauld is looking to recruit a Head of Maintenance and Minor Works to be responsible for proactively managing all maintenance services, including outsourced maintenance contracts; delivery of statutory compliance and managing minor improvement works to ensure the Gallery and collection care standards are met and our teaching and residential facilities are well maintained.
