The role
As Lecturer in Children’s Nursing, you will design and deliver high-quality, innovative learning experiences that equip students with the skills required for contemporary practice. Working within an inter-professional School of Health and Social Care, the role involves teaching and supporting learners across programmes, providing effective feedback, supervising academic work, and contributing to a strong student community.
You will integrate professional expertise and research into teaching, engage in curriculum development, and participate in ongoing scholarly activity. You’ll also collaborate across teams, contribute to quality enhancement, support course operations, and maintain relationships with practice partners to enrich learning and promote real-world relevance.
The team/The department

These include Nursing (all fields), Midwifery, Social Work, Paramedic Science, Operating Department Practitioner, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Diagnostic Radiography, Radiotherapy and Oncology, Dietetics and Art Psychotherapy.
We support practitioners to continue to develop their professional roles through our extensive continuing professional development portfolio, our graduates working in local, national, and international health and social care sectors.
