Background
We are seeking a proactive and organised Recruitment Co-ordinator to join our Unitemps team. This role is central to supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the branch, ensuring compliance across all processes, and providing excellent customer service to students, staff, and hiring managers.
You will work closely with the Senior Recruitment Consultant and Branch Manager on internal recruitment campaigns, handle a high volume of administrative and compliance tasks, and promote the Unitemps service across the University. Based behind the Student Support Hub reception area, you will often be the first point of contact for queries from students and staff.
Responsibilities
The Recruitment Coordinator will support the Branch Manager and Senior Recruitment Consultant with administrative, compliance, payroll, and recruitment duties. Responsibilities include managing the Unitemps mailbox, processing payroll and Right to Work checks, maintaining accurate records on ADAPT, and ensuring compliance with Home Office and University policies. The role also involves advertising vacancies, assisting hiring managers, and providing front-line support to students, staff, and employers through drop-ins, email, and phone enquiries to ensure an efficient and professional service.
Person Specification
Educated to degree level with GCSEs (A–C) in English and Maths, the ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. They should understand the HE sector, recruitment legislation, and have experience using technology and data analysis tools. Excellent communication, organisation, and customer service skills are essential, along with the ability to take initiative, manage multiple tasks, and work collaboratively. Experience in recruitment or careers services would be highly beneficial.
