This role sits in the Department of Health and Care Professions and is primarily to support the Diagnostic Radiography and Imaging Degree Apprenticeship though could be required to support other degree apprenticeship programmes in the department if required.
We welcome applicants looking for a part-time position. The ideal minimum hours per week is 14.6 (0.4 FTE), though we accept applications from individuals looking for fewer hours per week. The role is available immediately on a permanent basis.
The role
The role of Academic Mentor (Associate Lecturer - Education and Scholarship) will include supporting the student learning experience using a range of approaches and modes of delivery appropriate to the teaching allocated. As an Academic Mentor, you will act as first point of contact for students and their line managers working in a variety of healthcare organisations across the country, providing pastoral care and mentoring while they are studying their Degree Apprenticeship.
