We are seeking a highly motivated Research Fellow to join the Centre for Wireless Innovation (CWI) within the School of Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. This post is available until 31 March 2027.
You will become a key member of the Hub on All Spectrum Connectivity (HASC), a prestigious project funded by the EPSRC. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with world-leading partners, including the Universities of Oxford, Bristol, Southampton, Cambridge, UCL, and Imperial College London.
Your primary focus will be to conduct advanced channel and spectrum simulations and measurements at microwave and millimetre-wave (mmWave) frequencies. Building on this work, you will develop a new generation of data-driven spatio-temporal channel and spectrum models tailored to future wireless systems. You will also explore the cutting-edge application of AI and machine learning in channel prediction.
As an active member of CWI, you will contribute to our world-class research output by publishing in high impact national and international journals and presenting your findings at conferences. You will also have the opportunity to assist with funding proposals and supervise undergraduate projects.
This role offers the chance to work at the forefront of wireless technology, building valuable networks across top UK institutions while enhancing CWI’s global reputation for excellence.
