Full-time on a fixed-term basis for 15 months.

We are looking for an enthusiastic post-doctoral research associate with experience in active antenna design for ground station systems and RF frontend system design. The selected candidate will get to work directly with scientists from the European Space Agency and industrial partners.

We are looking for someone who can develop dual circularly polarised antennas for vehicle to satellite communications. Experience in controlled radiation pattern antennas would be very beneficial. The candidate should be available to join as soon as possible.

Key Requirements:
The candidate needs to have extensive experience in:

  • Conducting literature review.
  • Designing antenna system.
  • Validating through simulations.
  • Measuring the final antenna within anechoic chambers.
  • Conducting real-life experiments.
  • Presenting results to industrial partners.
  • Writing excellent papers and contribute to future research proposals.
