Finance, Infrastructure & Commercial Services (FICS)
This full-time post is available immediately on a permanent basis.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working – some time on campus and some from home.
Summary of the role
This newly created role leads on financial sustainability and assurance for education and research, two key pillars of the University’s mission. In doing so, the postholder will work closely with the senior teams of the Research Division and the Education and Academic Services Division. The post holder will be required to lead on and undertake detailed and complex financial modelling of both research and education activities with a view to driving continuous improvement in the University’s efficiency.
This is an exciting role with the potential to have a dramatic impact on the future of the University. We can guarantee exposure at the most senior levels from the outset. You will use your curiosity, skills and judgement to provide new and impactful insights into the core outputs of Education and Research, challenge existing ways of working and received wisdom, put forward new ideas and work with some of the very best in their fields.
The successful candidate must be CCAB, or equivalent, qualified.
The post holder will report to the Director of Finance and work closely with colleagues across the University and in particular colleagues within FICS.
Please ensure you read the Job Description and Person Specification for full details of this role.
