About the department
You’ll be part of the Marketing and Stakeholder Engagement Directorate responsible for a range of university-wide activities which includes teams responsible for organising student recruitment activities, managing the external website; design and digital content creation; campaign management and cycle activity; media liaison via the press office; corporate social media; internal comms for students; corporate events; alumni relations; and external stakeholder management.
The Global Student Recruitment Team is responsible for delivery of ambitious student recruitment targets through promotion of the University and its portfolio of courses to prospective students and via education agents in core international markets. Global student recruitment has increased significantly in recent years, and our international students are a valued part of our inclusive and diverse campus communities.
About the role
Working within the Global Student Recruitment Team you will provide a wide range of administrative support functions to help support the University’s global recruitment strategy.
You will have excellent organisational, communication and administration skills and an appreciation of the importance of global student recruitment to the University and within the HE sector in general.
A flexible can-do attitude is essential as the team works to tight deadlines and across multiple projects simultaneously. You will be comfortable in using or learning a variety of content creation and webinar scheduling platforms and enjoy working with colleagues across teams to deliver on international projects.
A desire to offer excellent customer service to a wide range of international stakeholders is essential.
