The Purpose of the role

The Department of Political Science, School of Social Sciences and Philosophy, are seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in International Politics, with a start date of 3^rd August 2026. We are looking for applicants with vision and enthusiasm, a genuine commitment to both research and teaching, and a demonstrated ability to engage students with innovative teaching methods. The successful candidate should have a proven research record, relative to career stage, with clear potential for further contributions to the field of political science.
