Saïd Business School’s world-class Masters in Science (MSc) and Diploma programmes form part of an executive degree portfolio generating over £26 million annually in tuition fees, with growth forecast beyond £30 million.

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Programme Coordinator to play a key role in supporting the delivery of these flagship programmes. This is a pivotal role within the MSc & Diplomas team — ensuring the seamless delivery of a world-class experience for our executive-level students, who expect the highest standards of service and professionalism.
You’ll work closely with Programme Managers, the Senior Programme Manager, and colleagues across the School to plan and coordinate all aspects of programme delivery — from logistics and vendor liaison to digital platform support and financial processes. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, initiative, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do
  • Deliver outstanding programme and event coordination — manage logistics, bookings, materials, and on-the-day support for modules and events, ensuring every detail runs smoothly.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external suppliers (including hotels, Colleges, and vendors) to arrange accommodation, catering, and facilities to the highest standard.
  • Provide digital learning support, maintaining and updating course content and communications on the School’s learning management systems (e.g., Canvas).
  • Coordinate financial processes — raise purchase orders, process invoices, and support budget tracking and reporting using the University’s Oracle Finance system.
  • Act as an In-Class or Virtual Class Assistant (ICA/VCA) — supporting Faculty with hybrid and online delivery via Zoom or other platforms, and uploading class recordings to the School’s LMS.
  • Lead office coordination and team administration to ensure the efficient operation of all MSc & Diploma Programme activities.
  • Contribute to School-wide projects and initiatives, embodying the School’s values and commitment to excellence in everything you do.
About you

You’ll be a confident, detail-driven professional who enjoys organising complex activities, managing multiple priorities, and delivering to exacting standards. You’ll combine administrative precision with strong communication and interpersonal skills, building excellent working relationships with colleagues, academics, and external partners alike.
Essential skills and experience:
  • Excellent attention to detail and a structured, methodical approach to work.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and excellent English proficiency.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using event or web tools such as Zoom.
  • Ability to use initiative, exercise discretion, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
Desirable:
  • A university degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working in higher education, preferably within executive or postgraduate education.
  • Familiarity with learning platforms (e.g., Canvas) and project management tools (e.g., Wrike).
You must have the Right to Work within the UK as this position may not amount to enough points under the points-based immigration system in the UK. For more information please visit: https://www.jobs.ox.ac.uk/pre-employment-checks.
