We're looking for a Content Designer to join our team at the School of Clinical Medicine for a fixed term period of twelve months.
You'll join a small project team developing a new website for the School, whilst also being a member of a growing network of user researchers, analysts and designers across the wider University working to transform products and services used by the organisations 60,000 students and staff.
What you'll be working on
We're starting a new phase of work on our School website, having completed the initial discovery phase, with the delivery of the design from an external agency expected soon. We're looking for someone who can manage complex website projects and work with a variety of different people, taking this project from design to build within twelve months. You'll be working with staff in the School and its institutions that have external facing content, with the aim to enhance the School's online presence, improve accessibility, and support the School's broader objectives in research, education, and collaboration. This includes doing research, analytics and audits, writing and publishing user-centred content, training and advising.
You'll have support from a wider team of content designers who readily share their knowledge and experience, and take part in regular content crits and design sessions.
