We are looking for an outstanding and highly motivated Postdoctoral Research Scientist to join the PERMEDIC project team (perame.eu), an exciting European Innovation Council (EIC) funded project focused on the development of personalised medicine solutions. You will work as part of an international, multidisciplinary consortium, collaborating closely with partners across Europe and the research team at the University of Liverpool.
The project aims to develop novel microparticulate-based drug delivery technologies designed for controlled and programmable drug release, contributing to the next generation of precision therapeutics. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in cutting-edge translational research at the interface of pharmaceutical science, materials engineering, and biomedical innovation.
You should have a PhD (or equivalent) in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Materials Science, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
If you are still awaiting your PhD to be awarded you will be appointed at Grade 6, spine point 30. Upon written confirmation that you have been awarded your PhD, your salary will be increased to Grade 7, spine point 31.
The post is available for 12 months, until January 2027.
