Applications are invited for the position of Research Administrator (PA)
To provide an administrative and secretarial service to the Molecular Imaging Chemistry Laboratory (MICL), a research unit within Department of Clinical Neurosciences, and PA support to Professor Franklin Aigbirhio, Professor of Molecular Imaging Chemistry.
The post holder will work with Professor Aigbirhio and his research group of around ten staff and students based at MICL to support the smooth and efficient running of the group through a wide variety of administrative and organizational tasks.
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work proactively and independently, have a proven track record of working in a similar environment and position, possess excellent organization and IT skills as well as the ability to manage a large and diverse workload.
This is a demanding position requiring a proactive approach to operations and diary management, as well as to the organization of travel and events and international research liaison.
Previous experience of administrative procedures in a relevant setting is essential, as well as the ability to work flexibly and to deadline.
Candidates must be educated to at least A-level standard including GCSE English and Mathematics.
Fixed Term: The funds for this post are available for 18 months in the first instance.
