The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic lecturer in pharmaceutics to join our team and contribute to teaching of undergraduate and foundation programmes run by the Department of Pharmacy. As part of this position, you will plan, develop and deliver high-quality and innovative teaching and assessments in collaboration with a team of academics to deliver a vibrant education experience to our students. The candidate will also be expected to develop, sustain and implement a progressive research plan, which contributes to the evidence-base of research in the subject discipline. The role will require some administrative responsibilities and the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.
The Person
You will have a first degree in pharmacy with a relevant PhD. Teaching experience or qualification is desirable. The candidate needs to be able to engage with a diverse range of students to motivate and inspire them to perform at their best and be able to work within a team with other staff and colleagues in the School and Faculty.
Applicants will be required to demonstrate that they meet the Kingston University standards in learning and teaching, and research. By the end of the probation period, you must have achieved the relevant level of UKPSF recognition (if this has not already been obtained). For those new to teaching, this will be through our accredited Introduction to Learning and Teaching and for those experienced in teaching, through our Kingston Academic Practice Standards Framework.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a starting salary of £45,025 per annum.
