Location: London (Passmore Centre, Borough Road, SE1)

The Role

We are seeking a motivated and people-focused Recruitment Officer to play a central role in building MJM London’s student community. Based at our London campus, you will manage the full recruitment journey, from initial enquiry through to enrolment, ensuring a professional, supportive and engaging experience for all applicants.

Working closely with the Centre Director and wider team, you will contribute directly to the growth, reputation and success of MJM London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high-quality, student-focused recruitment service from enquiry to enrolment
  • Respond to prospective student enquiries and manage applications and admissions interviews
  • Guide applicants on course options and assess suitability in line with admissions criteria
  • Represent MJM London at open days, fairs, events and outreach activities
  • Track recruitment activity, conversions and outcomes, contributing to reporting and planning
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, academic and operations colleagues
  • Act as a key point of contact for applicants, families and external stakeholders

Person Specification

You will have strong interpersonal and organisational skills, with experience in recruitment, admissions, education, sales or customer-facing roles. You will be comfortable working to targets, managing multiple priorities and engaging confidently with a diverse range of individuals. An interest in creative industries is desirable. French or additional language skills are an advantage.

Pay & Benefits

  • Salary: £29,000–£33,000 per annum
  • Performance-related bonus of up to 3%, linked to agreed recruitment and conversion targets
  • Full-time role (35 hours per week)
  • Primarily campus-based, with limited hybrid working subject to operational needs
