About JCQ
JCQ is the representative body for the leading awarding organisations offering general and vocational qualifications in the UK. Awarding organisations are responsible for setting and awarding qualifications such as GCSEs, AS and A Levels, and vocational qualifications.
JCQ’s mission is to reduce bureaucracy for schools and colleges by facilitating and delivering common administrative arrangements for examinations. We work collectively with UK qualification regulators and government departments and undertake a wide range of activities, including the publication of national GCSE and A level results. JCQ is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company funded by its members: AQA, City & Guilds, CCEA, NCFE, OCR, Pearson, and WJEC.
About the role
JCQ’s Data Analyst is a 12-month fixed-term position. The successful candidate will support the Head of Data and Technical Standards (HDTS) in delivering the following strategic commitments:
About you
The ideal candidate will be skilled in data analysis, possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and be resilient in supporting the HDTS with new initiatives to drive forward JCQ’s data services. Experience working with national qualifications and assessment data in an awarding organisation, test agency, or government department is highly desirable.
