The successful candidate will collaborate with our senior technician to support the daily operations of our theatre and studio spaces. This role involves providing technical support for staff and student productions, as well as assisting students and lecturers in the Creative Production Modules while ensuring the safe use of power tools. Additionally, the position includes basic scenic construction and carpentry, along with assistance in prop-making tasks.

It is essential for applicants to have rigging experience and to be proficient in lighting and sound design, including programming using industry-standard software and equipment. You will also be responsible for managing the transportation of shows to external venues during the festival and for showcases, leading load-ins and loadouts, and coordinating with external venues to gather the technical information necessary for creating effective lighting designs.
