Clinical Research Nurse (Band 6)

Location:  Hammersmith Campus, Imperial College London

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Clinical Research Nurse (Band 6) to join a multi-disciplinary research group focused on understanding immunological mechanisms driving post-infection sequelae and persistent symptoms in Long Covid and ME/CFS. You will work with Professors Rosemary Boyton and Daniel Altmann in the Faculty of Medicine, Imperial College London.

What you would be doing

You will recruit study participants, obtain informed consent, collect demographic and clinical data, process clinical samples (including phlebotomy), manage longitudinal follow-up using the ELAROS 24/7, maintain HTA-compliant sample storage, and ensure accurate data entry and database management.

What are we looking for:

• Registered Nurse with minimum 2 years post experience in clinical research
• Experience in participant recruitment and obtaining informed consent
• Phlebotomy skills and ability to process clinical samples
• Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and HTA regulations
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Accurate data entry and excellent database management

Further Information This post is full-time, fixed term for 12 months, based mainly at the Hammersmith Campus with occasional travel to other Imperial sites.
