Our Centre for Research and Knowledge Exchange in Psychological Wellbeing (CREW) unites expertise across developmental psychology, cognitive neuroscience, counselling, and arts and play therapies. The Role
The School of Psychology is confidently on a journey to deliver gold-standard education that leads to successful careers and meaningful citizenship. Going from success to success, we produce high quality impactful research while we positively seek to harvest the opportunities for sustainable growth and enterprise. We are seeking a Deputy Dean to join us in our mission and lead our growth and sustainability agenda.
This role will include, but not restricted to, responsibility for the Academic Responsibility Framework model’s application across the School, resource management and programme viability monitoring. The role holder will lead on the development and implementation of the School’s growth agenda across established and innovative pathways, identifying opportunities and suggesting interventions that deliver our sustainable investment strategy. They will be confident and inspirational leaders who will oversee a suit of programmes and line manage the corresponding academic staff. Data driven, goal oriented and ambition driven, they will join the School’s leadership team, in steering this vibrant and successful School to the future.
The Person
The successful candidate will bring academic leadership experience and a strong record of delivering learning & teaching, research or enterprise outcomes. They will have a talent for inspiring and managing teams towards clearly defined strategic objectives. Able to understand wider contexts and being strategically focused, they will be well positioned to identify opportunities, deliver sustainability and support the growth of the School.
