Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Business and Management

SP Jain London School of Management (SPJL) is a new OfS-registered business school that opened in October 2023, located in the heart of Canary Wharf. About the Role

We seek outstanding educators who bring both academic credibility and strong industry engagement. Our pedagogy is highly interactive, incorporating:

  • Socratic discussion methods
  • Applied case-based learning
  • Experiential learning
  • Emerging digital and AI-enabled teaching tools
  • SPJL values applied knowledge, classroom innovation, and the ability to connect learning with real business challenges. We encourage staff to bring live examples, industry reports, simulations and contemporary topics into the learning experience.

For Senior Lecturers, experience in Programme Direction, curriculum leadership or academic administration is required.  We encourage staff to be research active and the role also involves  administration as well as teaching.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Doctorate in Business, Technology or a relevant discipline or professional experience
  • Teaching and/or industry experience (minimum 5 years desirable)
  • Evidence of effective and engaging teaching at HE level
  • Interest in applied learning, digital pedagogy and use of AI responsibly in education
