The Role
The Global Opportunities team is responsible for developing and supporting the delivery of international experiences for students during their time at Newcastle, ensuring a high-quality University experience. Based within the Careers Service, and wider Student Success unit, the team supports all students to access global experiences and work towards a positive graduate outcome.
We are looking for a motivated Global Experience Adviser to join our team.
You will be part of a team of Global Advisers responsible for developing and delivering year and semester study abroad placements, short-term work experience, internships and summer schools, working closely with students, external partners and colleagues to ensure an excellent student experience is always at the forefront and that a global experience is available to all Newcastle University students. The role may require occasional out of hours/ evening work and international travel.
The position is offered on a full-time basis (37 hours per week) and allows for blended working, with our office based at City Campus in Newcastle Upon Tyne.
