Shape the future of Business education and research at Lincoln Bishop University. 

Lincoln Bishop University is seeking an ambitious academic leader to take on the founding role of Dean of the Business School. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to hold an underlying Professorial role. This is a critical strategic appointment for an individual with a commitment to leadership and innovation who can drive inspiring opportunities, transformative experiences and long-term sustainability across the newly established Business School and the wider University.

As Dean, you will:

  • Provide strategic national and international leadership, developing the School’s academic portfolio in alignment with the University’s strategy and its strategic partners.
  • Shape a compelling vision for the Business School, aligned with the University’s 2030 Strategy, and develop a strong identity for this new academic unit.
  • Develop and sustain strong relationships which add value, with employers, professional bodies, and academic institutions regionally, nationally and internationally, working with the University’s wider leadership team and its strategic partners, including existing partner organisations delivering Lincoln Bishop programmes in Birmingham, Nottingham, London and globally.
  • Champion research excellence, knowledge exchange, and consultancy, ensuring regional, national and global impact.
  • Lead curriculum innovation and research-informed teaching across on-campus, online, and partner-delivered provision.
  • Foster a culture of collegiality, wellbeing, and scholarly excellence, mentoring and inspiring staff in the image of the University’s values.
  • Represent the School and Faculty at institutional, national, and international levels.

We are looking for:

  • An outstanding academic/business professional with an interest/profile commensurate with the requirements for a Professorial appointment.
  • Evidence of a forward-thinking, dynamic and successful leadership.
  • Experience in portfolio development, quality assurance, recruitment initiatives, and partnership working.
  • A visionary leader committed to innovation, collaboration, and societal impact.
