Do you have an excellent research record and evidence of a growing international reputation in your field? Would you like to join the vibrant School of Philosophy, Religion and History of Science at the University of Leeds, and contribute to our mission to be a creative and inclusive community renowned both for its academic excellence and for its impact on policy, practice, and public life?
As a Lecturer, your teaching will be primarily in our flagship Liberal Arts programme, while also contributing to other programmes in our interdisciplinary School. You will teach at all levels of our varied undergraduate programmes, provide dissertation supervision, contribute to appropriate MA programmes, and supervise research students.
We are specifically looking for candidates whose research and expertise focuses on global (or non-western) religions, philosophies and/or worldviews, such as in Africana, Islamic, or South/East Asian contexts and traditions. You will be able to contribute to our Centre for Religion and Public Life and/or our Centre for Philosophy of Religion and Theology, while you are encouraged to also participate in other research centres in the School, the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Cultures, and the University where relevant.
