The School of Education, Health and Science is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced academic to join the BSc (Hons) Occupational therapy programme lecturing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced academic who is keen to develop and progress their career in higher education (senior lecturer) or someone looking to move into an education role (lecturer position) from clinical practice.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a drive and passion to develop Occupational therapy education, as well as an eagerness to engage students with their learning.
This post offers an exciting opportunity for you to be involved in moving the school forwards with its strategic plan to deliver a sustainable health and social care workforce for Gloucestershire and beyond, in collaboration with strategic healthcare partners.
For the senior lecturer role, you will be expected to hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Education or equivalent. For the lecturer role you will be supported to complete this course during your first three years in post.
This post requires an enhanced DBS check and for applicants to be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an Occupational Therapist.
