We have 2 roles available:
A Permanent role in the School of Engineering and Materials Science (8701)
A 7-month fixed term role in the School of Mathematical Sciences (8700)
As the primary contact for all research related activities within the relevant School, you will provide high level, professional advice and support for the development and implementation of research strategies, innovation activities and impact across the school. You will be responsible for the effective management of administrative services supporting research activities, in collaboration with the Faculty Research Manager, your School’s Director of Research and Centre Leads. You will lead on the operational support and development of research funding in your School, including management of financial costings and grant proposals. You will work closely with colleagues in central Professional Services including the Research Services Directorate, VP Research and Innovation’s Office, and Communications.
