The University of Nottingham has been providing an outstanding student experience for over 140 years and is a leading university of worldwide significance with established campuses in UK, China and Malaysia.

The Estates and Facilities Department at the University of Nottingham provides strategic and operational services support to the University infrastructure, buildings and landholdings. We are a large and diverse department employing approximately 1300 people and provide a wide range of services across our U.K sites.

We are looking for a professional and customer focused individual to join the University Houses Team. In this role you will be the first point of contact for tenants of university residential properties answering queries and resolving any issues that may arise. You will visit University properties, source appropriate accommodation for staff, students and visitors and will assess the suitability of the accommodation by carrying out inspections and liaising with relevant stakeholders including prospective tenants, providing excellent service on behalf of the University.

You will also be responsible for drafting and issuing tenancy agreements and will oversee the end of the tenancy process coordinating both the clearing and refurbishments of accommodation alongside other Estates departments.

You should ideally be qualified to HND level or equivalent in a related field with some relevant experience, or have extensive relevant experience in a similar property administration, customer-focused, or residential agency role. You should also have experience of managing a diverse workload and have excellent customer service skills. Due to the frequency with which the post holder will drive to and from University properties a full, current driving licence is essential for this role.

Further details regarding the duties for the post can be found on the attached job role profile.

This post is offered on a permanent basis. Hours of work are part time, 29 per week, working mainly Monday-Friday between. Job share arrangements may be considered. Flexibility to occasionally respond to urgent enquiries outside usual working hours, (e.g. an emergency) will be required.
