Wolfson College, University of Oxford, seeks to appoint a multiskilled Maintenance Technician, who will be working as part of our busy Maintenance Team to continue providing a high standard of service in a thriving College environment. This role is full time and permanent.
Main duties of the role involve: internal and external painting and decorating of Wolfson College site and its properties, the day-to-day completion of reactive, planned preventative work and compliance record keeping, as well as assisting in a range of duties related to minor works and some larger projects. Participating in the call-out rota is also required.
The ideal candidate will have an ability to paint and decorate to a good standard, as well as general maintenance knowledge and experience. Ability to communicate positively and work in a small, busy team is essential. Previous knowledge working within a maintenance department in an education setting would be an advantage.
The starting salary for a full-time role (42 hours) is £28,578 per annum, which includes a basic salary of £26,848 per annum and the Oxford Weighting of £1,730 per annum. A call-out allowance (currently £1,651 per annum) is paid in addition.
