An exciting opportunity has arisen for an academic post in the Department of Molecular & Biomedical Sciences. The post holder will deliver teaching to undergraduate students across the School of Health and Medical Sciences (SHMS), primarily on the Biomedical Science and MBBS programmes, and to other UG or PG programmes as required. In addition, they will be expected to adopt a flexible approach to the development of scholarly, research and administrative activities to support the department.

Key attributes of the successful applicant include:

  • A first degree and PhD in a subject area closely aligned to biomedical science
  • The ability to contribute to biomedical science education across SHMS
  • A commitment to excellence in undergraduate education
  • A strong collegiate approach to work
  • An ability to integrate with scholarly/research activities within the school
  • Familiarity with the UK higher education secto

Shortlisted applicants will be required to deliver a 10-minute presentation aimed at UG Level 5 in a subject relevant to biomedical science.

Appointment will be at the first or second point on City St George’s Lecturer scale, depending on experience.
