An exciting opportunity has arisen for an organised and proactive administrator to join the uea+sport team at the University of East Anglia.
Working closely with student sport staff, club committees and students, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to ensure the effective delivery of the University’s sport and physical activity programmes.
The role will involve managing departmental and student sport email enquiries, processing financial transactions, administering vehicle bookings and driving tests, and liaising with club committees to collect and maintain key documentation.
You will also support the coordination of uea+sport activities, including wellbeing initiatives, participation programmes, club and performance sport, assisting with event bookings, data collection, fixture recording and departmental communications.
You will be able to communicate effectively and efficiently to a wide range of stakeholders alongside having an interest and commitment to sport and the use of sport to develop people and performance.
This post will offer exposure to a wide range of departments within the University and Sportspark, allowing you to develop your skills across numerous teams.
This post is available immediately on an indefinite basis.
Your hours under the University's annualised hours system are based on average as a 32.3-hour week (0.8075 FTE) over a 52.2-week year, making a total of 1686 hours per year. You will be expected to flex these hours according to the seasonal requirements of the department, which typically will be 40 hours per week (1.0 FTE) during semester dates and significantly reduced during holiday periods.
