Hours: Full Time
Contract Type: Permanent
Placed On: 8th January 2026
Closes: 22nd January 2026

About the role:

Recruit, assess and nurture the next generation of leaders as a Recruitment & Admissions Officer (Global and Executive MBA) at a world-leading university. Imperial Business School is seeking a diligent professional to join our team and support end-to-end pipeline engagement across two of our flagship MBA programmes. You will be empowered to attract and admit exceptional candidates who will benefit business and improve society through the power of innovative thinking. This is an outward-facing role, grounded in data and driven by the robust global relationships you will build.

What you would be doing:

You will support the recruitment and admissions processes for Imperial’s Global Online and Executive MBA programmes – engaging with the full applicant journey from initial enquiry through to enrolment. You will play a key role in shaping the composition, quality and diversity of our cohorts, ensuring a smooth, professional and engaging experience for every applicant.

You will be guided by data-driven recruitment strategies, delivering application and selection processes with rigour and efficiency, and ensuring a professional, personalised experience for every candidate. Through targeted engagement, events and communications, you will play a part in developing exceptional student cohorts that contribute to the global reputation of the programmes and the institution.

Reporting to the Recruitment & Admissions Manager (Global and Executive MBA), you will collaborate closely with colleagues across the Recruitment & Admissions team, the Business School and the wider College. You will use data and insights to identify improvements, maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and represent Imperial at domestic, international and online events. This people-focused role will require both analytical ability and sound professional judgement.

What we are looking for:

  • Experience in recruitment, admissions or a comparable customer-focused environment, ideally within the Higher Education sector.
  • Proven ability to administer our application pipeline from enquiry to enrolment, building effective relationships and rigorously assessing candidate suitability to meet ambitious recruitment targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse global candidate pool.
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM systems and selection tools, able to utilise data to prepare reports on recruitment and admissions performance.
  • A commitment to continuous process improvement, using insights and feedback to enhance the candidate journey.
  • A proactive team player with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and deliver under pressure.

What we can offer you:

  • The opportunity to continue your career at a world-leading institution and be part of our mission to use science for humanity.
  • Benefit from a sector-leading salary and remuneration package (including 39 days’ annual leave and generous pension schemes).
  • Access to a range of workplace benefits including a flexible working policy from day one, generous family leave packages, on-site leisure facilities and cycle-to-work scheme.

Further Information

This is a full-time, open-ended contract based at our South Kensington campus (hybrid).

Hybrid roles allow a blend of remote and onsite work, with the requirement that all staff will spend a minimum of 60 per cent of their working time (typically three days per week) onsite.

Interviews are to be conducted on the week commencing Monday 9th February, and are intended to be conducted in-person on our South Kensington campus.
